Before Britpop had a name
Formed in 1988, The Real People were making swaggering Liverpool guitar music before anyone thought to call it Britpop — and they helped a young Oasis record the demos that won them a deal. Chris and Tony Griffiths have since written hits for Cher, Rooster and more, and they are still out on the road today.
